Pediatric Integrated Primary Care Psychologist, Department of Pediatrics

Job Overview Full‑time Faculty Psychologist in Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health. Provide integrated behavioral health services in general pediatrics at UVA Health Children's clinics (Orange or Northridge). Rank, track, and salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Collaborating with psychologists and pediatricians across all three general pediatric clinics and the Teen and Young Adult Health Center to develop and implement a robust integrated primary care program for patient populations in Charlottesville and surrounding communities. Screening and assessment of mental health concerns in the primary care setting. Conducting brief, targeted behavioral health interventions in the primary care setting. Providing consultation to medical and interprofessional teams. Teaching medical fellows, residents, and medical students. Participation in departmental and health system committees and continuing education offerings. Qualifications PhD or equivalent from an APA‑accredited program, completed an APA‑accredited internship, and licensed or license‑eligible in Virginia. Skilled in interprofessional practice in a complex academic medical environment. Training in clinical child and pediatric psychology.
