About Us

The Jey Institute (The Jeyamohan Institute, PC) is a physician-owned neurosurgical and spine practice with offices across New Jersey. We are growing, and we are building a multi-specialty surgical group with orthopedics and sports medicine on the near-term roadmap. This is a clinic-based role in a practice where the advanced practice provider is a central part of patient care, not an afterthought.

The Role

You will evaluate and treat outpatient spine patients in our Marlton, Little Silver, and/or Hamilton offices. This is a 100% outpatient clinical position (no nights, no weekends, no call); OR can be negotiated if desired (may require rare <2x/month late evenings/weekend if OR is desired). The practice does NOT cover any weekend or night ER call.

Spine experience is preferred but not required. We provide hands-on training in spine evaluation and management, and you will work directly with a board-certified neurosurgeon. If you are a strong clinician who wants to learn spine, we will teach you.

As the practice grows, this role will expand into general orthopedics and sports medicine.

We employ one experienced PA who will help provide guidance and training for those who desire it.

Schedule

• 4 days per week. You choose which days. No weekends.
• Clinic hours only.
• Travel between our Marlton, Little Silver, and/or Hamilton offices is required (2 of the 3). A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, and mileage is reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and returning outpatient spine patients, including history, physical exam, and neurological exam
• Review imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT) and correlate findings with clinical presentation
• Develop and manage conservative treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy referrals, bracing, and activity modification
• Identify surgical candidates and coordinate with the surgeon
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Document accurately and close notes in a timely manner in Practice Fusion
• Coordinate with front office and clinical staff on authorizations, records, and patient follow-up
• Take on general orthopedic and sports medicine visits as those services come online

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey NP or PA license in good standing, or license eligibility
• NP: national certification (AANP or ANCC); PA: NCCPA certification
• CDS and DEA registration, or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable working across multiple offices and building relationships with patients
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• 130-150k+, negotiable based on experience, availability, hours, etc.
