State and Local Tax Manager

We’re seeking an experienced State and Local Tax Manager to join our growing team in New Haven, CT. What You Will Be Doing as State and Local Tax Manager Prepare, review, and file separate and combined state corporate income and franchise tax returns for multiple domestic legal entities using OneSource tax software. Prepare, review, and file quarterly state income tax estimates and extensions. Maintain accurate state apportionment schedules. Compute state tax provision. Research state and local tax matters and track changes in state tax law. Resolve state tax notices and interact with state tax authorities. Gather data for state income tax audit responses. Provide additional support on corporate tax projects as needed. What We Are Looking For 7–10 years of experience in state income tax. Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting. Big 4 experience preferred. CPA and/or MST preferred. OneSource Income Tax experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong tax research skills, initiative, and goal‑oriented mindset.
