This role offers a dynamic acute care environment, catering to patients with cardiac conditions, post-pneumonia care, and more. Ideal candidates will have strong cardiac monitoring and titration skills, supporting the nursing team and optimizing patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care for patients with cardiac conditions, seizures, pacemakers, and CIWA protocols
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips and titratable medications
• Collaborate with on-call attending and noturnist professionals
• Interpret telemetry strips and identify rhythms
• Assist respiratory therapy with troubleshooting equipment
• Perform ADLs, monitor vitals, and deliver patient care tasks efficiently

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Valid RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and administration of cardiac drips
