- Greet customers, listen to concerns, and document vehicle issues accurately .
- Create service orders and provide clear estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate repair recommendations and technical information to customers in an understandable way .
- Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs .
- Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and labor performed.
- Follow up with customers regarding service status, recalls, or maintenance reminders.
- Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
- Previous experience as a service writer or in automotive customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Computer proficiency for scheduling, invoicing, and record-keeping.
