Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized surgical assistance in the operating room environment, supporting complex orthopedic and neuro procedures with a focus on total joint arthroplasty, spinal fusion, and robotic cases. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedure flow and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and supplies for complex orthopedic and neuro surgeries.
• Assist surgeons during procedures involving total joint replacements, spinal fusions, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Operate and troubleshoot Xi robotic systems and other specialized OR equipment.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support surgical team members by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field.
• Document procedure details accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold NBSTSA certification and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical tech, specifically in orthopedic, neuro, or robotic surgeries.
• Demonstrate proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic systems and total joint procedures.
• Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in sterile techniques and OR procedures.
