Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This role involves providing care in the emergency room setting. The nurse will handle a patient ratio of 1:4-6. Must have experience in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage a variety of emergency situations. The nurse should possess skills in airway management and advanced cardiovascular life support. Candidates should be familiar with pediatric emergencies as the unit serves a diverse patient age group. Required skills also include managing traumatic injuries and acute psychosis. The role includes participating in patient care planning and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Weekend work is required, with 6 shifts in each 6-week schedule, specifically Friday and Saturday nights. This position demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Proper documentation and adherence to protocols are essential components of the job.
