Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Seeking a Senior or Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer to work remotely in the United States, this full-time position focuses on building and architecting firmware for next-generation IoT devices, with responsibilities that include independently owning features or mentoring engineers based on experience level. Key responsibilities Design and develop embedded firmware for smart home IoT devices Collaborate on architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers Debug hardware and optimize performance across video/streaming or networking stacks Required qualifications 7+ years of embedded firmware development experience Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ programming Experience with RTOS and/or Embedded Linux platforms Deep expertise in video/audio streaming or networking/connectivity protocols Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools
