Schedule & Availability
Standard Schedule: 10-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM5:30 PM
Vacation Coverage: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM3:30 PM
Assignment: 36 months with possible extension
Call: No CRNA call
Late Stays: Occasional/rare late stay may be needed but is not required
Schedule: Discussed with Chief CRNA
Practice Details
Facility Type: Hospital and CRNA-led endoscopy center
Locations: CRNA will float between:
- DuBois
- Clearfield
- Brookville
Practice Setting:
- 11 ORs
- 2 hospital GI suites
- 3 GI suites at the CRNA-led endoscopy center
- Bronchoscopy lab
- Cath lab
Anesthesia Team
- 4 anesthesiologists per day
- 1518 CRNAs per day
- No AAs
- CRNAs work under anesthesiologist medical direction
- Maximum medical direction ratio: 4:1
Patient Volume
Average Daily Census: Approximately 40 anesthesia cases per day, including endoscopy
Individual CRNA Volume Varies: Examples include:
- 1015 GI cases
- 68 cystoscopies
- 34 general cases
Patient Population
Adults and Pediatrics
Pediatric experience is helpful but not required.
Procedures / Case Mix
Experience with the following is available:

- ENT, including pediatric cases
- GYN
- OB
- Plastics
- Endoscopy
- Urology
- Orthopedics
- Vascular
- Cardiothoracic
- Neurology/Neurosurgery
Preferred Experience:
- Vascular
- Neuro
- Thoracic
Optional:
- OB
- Regional blocks
- Epidurals
Trauma/Cardiac: Covered by staff CRNAs
Charting
EMR: Cerner
Experience Requirement
Required Experience: 2 years
Preferred Experience: 12 years listed by site; 2 years required per clinical role
