Pediatric Dental Assistant Opportunity
We are a growth-oriented pediatric dental practice looking for an experienced and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our friendly, positive team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with kids, and value work-life balance, this is the opportunity for you.
Compensation And Benefits
Hourly pay: $20 - $23 per hour (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Retirement plan (401k/IRA)
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday enjoy your weekends!
Responsibilities
As a key member of our pediatric dental team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Placing sealants and assisting with stainless steel crowns (SSCs)
- Providing pulpotomy assistance
- Assisting with space maintainer procedures
- Managing patient behavior in a calm, effective, and child-friendly manner
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with parents and guardians
- Maintaining a smooth, efficient clinical workflow
Requirements
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience strongly preferred)
- Coronal Polish Certification (required)
- X-ray Certification (required)
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with children
