Advanced Transmission Center is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who can independently diagnose and repair modern vehicles. This is not an entry-level position. We are not looking for a parts changer. We are looking for a technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles independently while also performing transmission removal and installation, drivability repairs, electrical diagnostics and general automotive repair. Our shop specializes in transmission and drivetrain repair, but we routinely diagnose complex vehicle issues. 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose drivability, electrical, and transmission-related concerns

• Perform transmission removal and installation

• Perform general automotive repairs

• Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment

• Accurately document findings and repairs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years automotive repair experience preferred

• Strong diagnostic skills

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform electrical troubleshooting

• Transmission R&R experience preferred

• Welding and fabrication experience a plus

• 1 Week paid vacation after 6 months, then annually thereafter.

Compensation:

$32-$42+ per hour depending on experience and diagnostic ability. This is an hourly position. No flat rate.
