Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams.Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office.Basic QualificationsTo be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education. 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).Must be open to occasional travel, up to ~10% to support Program and/or Supplier visits.You will need to be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI clearance, to support government contracts, as well as successfully pass a background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. (Please note: No clearance is required to apply, nor prior to start.)Desired SkillsTo be effective, ideally, you should also have:6+ years of professional experience.Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals, including processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts and acquisition procedures.Knowledge and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS.Familiarity with SAP/P2P enterprise resource planning software.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.Strong communication skills with an ability to interface with all levels of management and persuade/motivate action.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and stakeholders.Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
