Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel L&D Registered Nurse - Day Shift Job Description The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The role involves monitoring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns, assisting in the delivery process, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families. Responsibilities Monitor progress during labor, responding to changes in the mother and baby's condition. Provide education and support for patients regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care. Assist in the labor and delivery process, performing necessary interventions as directed. Document all patient care activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in the state. Clinical experience in a labor and delivery setting preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Completion of required competency exams and checklists prior to onboarding. Schedule This position requires availability for day shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Why ARMStaffing?
