Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue within an assigned territory through direct sales, relationship management, and market development. This role involves identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and executing strategic sales plans using CRM tools to meet or exceed budgeted targets. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, building owners, specifiers, lumberyards, and distributors. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients and prospects. Create and execute territory-specific business development plans using CRM and related tools. Implement and maintain key customer plans including annual territory plans and weekly game plans. Monitor sales performance against budget and adjust plans as needed. Stay informed of market and industry trends, sharing insights with the team. Represent the company at industry events and within the local community. Collaborate with internal teams to communicate market feedback, product needs, and technical concerns. Promote the company and solutions with professionalism and credibility. Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience in the building materials industry. Solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes. Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales reporting tools. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands Regular travel within the territory and the United States. Ability to lift 50 lbs, fly in an airplane, drive long distances, and navigate stairs/ladders.
