Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for an outpatient clinic position requiring BLS certification and 2 years of experience with orthopedics skills preferred.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic/urgent care center setting supporting a high-volume clinic,
• Assists with injection procedures, imaging order placement, and minor procedure room support,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• Cerner charting system preferred but not required,

Job Requirements

• Current MO or Compact LPN/LVN license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, will consider candidates with 1.5 years,
• Orthopedic experience preferred but not required,
• Skills in ambulation, cast care, crutch walking, and prosthetics preferred,
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs,
• Ability to perform active job functions including ambulating and reaching throughout shift,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include follow-up phone calls, pain assessment and management, patient health questionnaires/history/allergies review, and vital sign monitoring,
• Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year with potential exposure to contagious illnesses,
• Rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and work during inclement weather may be required,
• Required to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract,
• Required to take call and work assigned weekends as needed,
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role,
• Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted, with none allowed during the first week due to orientation,
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible to apply,
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered the position at a local rate
