Job Summary The Import Coordinator oversees the importation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating with stakeholders. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations, minimizing delays, and optimizing costs in international shipments. Key Responsibilities Managing the import process from booking to delivery Ensuring compliance with regulations Coordinating with supply chain partners Preparing and reviewing import documentation Tracking shipments Resolving issues Maintaining records Communicating with internal departments Negotiating freight rates Ensuring proper classification and valuation of goods Managing vendor relationships Handling any other company‑specific duties Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in a related field Prior experience in import coordination or logistics Knowledge of international trade regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask Problem‑solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Other relevant qualifications or skills Benefits Approximate Salary: 60000.00-70000.00 Por Year Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Close to the major transportation hubs in Midtown Working Hours and Location 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
