Job DescriptionProject Manager - Manufacturing Digital Transformation (MDx) - Decatur, ILThis is a full time, exempt level position.Preferred Location: North American Headquarters in Decatur, ILPosition Summary:As a Project Manager for Manufacturing Digital Transformation, you will drive digital transformation across ADM Global Operations by leading and executing projects that transform the way we work. This will include projects that:Connect front line workers with the data they need to make effective decisions.Develop and deploy architectures that move data from field devices to a central, contextualized cloud environment.Leverage analytics and other technology to make better decisions.Project scopes will range from technical code development and early proofs of concept to scaling and replicating digital products. Depending on the nature of each project, methodologies may include both waterfall and Agile approaches. Success will require collaboration across ADM, including plant managers, front-line workers, operational technology teams, and global information technology resources.While the project manager will initially focus on a specific project, this person might manage one or several projects depending on the size and scope.If you are an experienced Project Manager, passionate about leading projects and want to make a significant impact in manufacturing digital transformation, we encourage you to apply.Job Responsibilities:Define project scope and develop delivery plans aligned with established roles, responsibilities and governance structuresDevelop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverablesManage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectivelyLead organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training coordination, and adoption measurementDrive site readiness and support successful adoption of digital solutions across manufacturing facilities.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risksManage project RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions) logs and drive timely resolutionPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and developers to define requirements and prioritize value deliveryMaintain clear and effective communication with task owners within the team, in other teams across ADM and the globe, and at different companiesTrack and report project value realization, including operational, financial and adoption metricsSupport portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource coordination across multiple manufacturing digital transformation initiativesFoster a collaborative and high-performing work environmentFacilitate project stage-gate reviews and governance processesEnsure project deliverables align with Helios program standards, architecture, and strategic objectivesProvide coaching and support to team members in Agile methodologies and user story writingManage relationships with external vendors, implementation partners, and service providers as neededEffectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships with eachDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management functionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations or a related technical discipline.Experience with capacity planning and workload balancing.Proven experience in project managementStrong understanding of both waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience working with Agile teams, facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management tools and softwareProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levelsPreferred QualificationsPMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certificationLean Six Sigma certificationExperience with product scale-up and industrial transformation initiativesExperience in scaling products from a single proof of concept to replications across multiple locations and regionsIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement principles, and collaboration between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) teams.Experience in one or more of AVEVA PI, Edge & Cloud technologies stack, Digital Workflow & Connected Worker, MES/MOM systems, SCADA systems, PLC environments, or similar manufacturing digital technologies.TravelUp to 20% travel requiredPhysical RequirementsThis job will require visits to observe project work in operating production plant facilities and to communicate with stakeholders and users.Access to these project areas would involve climbing stairs and being exposed to the weather and environmental elements of the area, including hot and humid conditions in the summer and cold outdoor conditions during winter months.This is an individual contributor leadership role.Success will depend on influencing stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving execution across operations, OT, IT, and business functions without direct reporting authority.Relocation assistance is available with this position.Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed? REF:113691BRBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
