divh2Pharmacist Position/h2pAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking registered pharmacists to support U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facilities located at 3209 Elam Farms Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37127 and 181 Sam Jared Dr, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Pharmacists support the CMOP mission by preparing prescriptions and packages in an accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner, without disruption in services or production. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it were their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides pharmaceutical verification of prescription orders of legend, OTC, Medical Surgical (Med/Surg), and Controlled Substances to patients requiring care./liliAssesses drug orders and cross matches with medication presented at checking stations./liliPre-verifies medications loaded into highly specialized mechanical apparatus to dispense medications into prescription bottles./liliCompletes verification and fill of controlled substance orders, including Schedules III, IV, and V./liliPerforms Quality Assurance functions and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians./liliFollows CMOP policies regarding documentation and reports to meet VA and TJC policy./liliNotes any unusual doses, wrong drug, wrong strength, or drug mix up, and reports the information in accordance with local CMOP policies./liliProvides full checking, labeling, and quality assurance within the guidance of the Department of Veterans Affairs regarding pharmaceutical medications./liliCompounds and dispenses medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines for controlled substances./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliLicensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia./liliMust be a graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university. Pharmacists who are licensed but have been subjected to disciplinary action of any type by their licensing authority within the preceding five years, must be referred to CMOP management before proceeding with the hiring action./liliMust be licensed for controlled substances, with qualifications to practice in any states./liliMust demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with co-workers and staff./liliMaintains basic typing skills, PC computer skills, and working knowledge of MS Office./liliMust read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d)./liliAble to pass VetPro certification, which is a credentialing system that is required of all VHA licensed, registered, and certified health care providers./liliAble to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours), and lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively./li/ulpAll candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
