RN Short-Stay Surgical Unit (SSSU) / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Outpatient Surgery (with $7,500 Completion Bonus) at ATC - Northwest • Washington DC Registered Nurse (RN) – SSSU / PACU / Outpatient Surgery Location: Clarkston, WA | Assignment Type: Travel | Duration: 13 weeks | Schedule: 4×10s | Pay: $2,352.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care across Same-Day Surgery, PACU, Endoscopy, and Pre-Op areas Administer conscious sedation for special procedures as needed Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education Monitor and manage patients in immediate post‑anesthesia phase Assess and respond to post‑operative complications Start IVs, manage infusions, and administer medications Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams Track and document patient progress in EMR Float across outpatient areas per staffing and patient needs Qualifications Active RN license (WA or Compact) Minimum 1 year recent experience in PACU, SDS/Pre‑Op, or perioperative nursing IV infusion experience preferred BLS and ACLS required Strong assessment, airway management, and critical‑thinking skills Flexible to float within outpatient perioperative departments Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required Benefits Weekly pay with competitive rates Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Referral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our network Flexible schedules and dedicated recruiter support About ATC Healthcare ATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
