Licensed Practical NurseWe are looking for dedicated TRAVEL LPNs in Redmond, Oregon with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.Duties:Patient Assessments: Performing patient health assessments, risk assessments, nursing assessments, and appropriate health screenings within scope of practiceHealth History: Reviewing and documenting patient health historyVitals & Screening: Recording blood pressure and applicable screening informationPatient Monitoring: Monitoring patient health status and identifying changes requiring follow-upNursing Care: Performing nursing interventions and providing patient care within scope of practiceMedication Management: Administering and managing medications and treatments as authorized and in accordance with applicable ordersPatient Education: Providing preventive health education and educating patients regarding their carePatient Counseling: Counseling patients regarding health, wellness, and disease preventionCare Coordination: Coordinating follow-up care and preventive care schedulingNursing Procedures: Performing nursing procedures within licensure and granted privilegesPost-Procedure Care: Assisting with post-procedure care and follow-up as authorizedDocumentation: Documenting all patient encounters and nursing services in RPMS/EHRCollaboration: Collaborating with medical providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers regarding patient careJob Requirements:Current and unrestricted LPN License – Any state license acceptedMinimum 1 year clinical nursing experienceBLS – American Heart AssociationMillbrook specializes in placing healthcare providers of varying specialties with clients throughout the United States.
