Claim Analyst IV, Lex Pro

Position Overview Join us as a Claims Analyst IV, Lex Pro to take on key responsibilities within our world‑class claims function. The analyst will handle a caseload of pending and incoming employment practices liability and management liability claims. Responsibilities include determining coverage, evaluating liability, assessing damages, establishing reserves, and managing all aspects of claims tendered on architects and engineers professional liability policies. The analyst will communicate extensively with insureds, brokers, counsel and stakeholders, and collaborate with underwriters and senior claims management to support the business. Impact and Responsibilities Focus on employment practices liability and management liability, you will manage a portfolio of claims from coverage inquiry through liability assessment, quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution. You will strive for customer‑focused claim resolution, minimize indemnity exposure, actively promote the principles of treating customers fairly, and contribute to continuous improvement through quality assurance and regional audit processes. Qualifications Experience handling third‑party claims, litigation or related experience. Knowledge of legal, regulatory, litigation and procedural requirements for employment practices and/or management liability claims. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Multi‑state adjuster licenses and/or JD preferred. Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and ADR skills on higher‑value complex claims. Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation. Track record of following up on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement. Ability to influence claims and non‑claims stakeholders by directing claims strategy effectively. Compensation & Benefits For positions based in Massachusetts, the base salary range is $85,000–$104,000. For positions based in NewYork, the base salary range is $70,000–$95,000. For positions based in NewJersey, the base salary range is $76,000–$103,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the applicable incentive plan and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
