Assistant Designer - CAD, 3D Rendering, Mood Boards

Havencraft Design Build is growing and we are looking for a talented, detail oriented Assistant Designer to join our team and help bring residential projects to reality.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the intersection of design, technology, and construction and wants to be part of a growing luxury remodel company.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with business owner (Chief Designer/ General Contractor) to create and modify CAD drawings and floor plans
Produce 3D renderings and visual concepts for residential projects
Assist with presentation setup
Help turn design concepts into clear, buildable plans
Make revisions based on owner and client feedback
Help organize and maintain project drawings and design files, manage tasks in JobTread
Support the team with other tasks as projects move from concept through construction

What we're looking for

Experience with CAD software and residential drafting
Experience creating 3D renderings
Strong understanding of residential spaces, materials, and design
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret architectural plans and dimensions
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects
Creative problem-solver with a willingness to learn
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Portfolio or examples of your work are encouraged

The Ideal Candidate

We are not looking for a senior designer. This position will likely start as a part time role with the opportunity for full time in the near future. We're looking for someone who has a strong technical foundation, a good design eye, and the desire to grow with a small, creative, fast-moving design-build company. We are a female owned business!
