Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts per week 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Rare overtime No call
• Job Setting: Hospital/Surgical Facility - 5 rooms Open to local locums
• Types of Cases: GU and GI cases Adults only (no pediatrics) Supervision and own cases (1:3 or 1:4 ratio)
• Charting: Paper with iPro
• Credentialing: Privileging approximately 30 days

• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse New Jersey license required

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
