Every day, you'll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.How You'll Have Impact at Kinder's:You will play a key role supporting Kinder's by designing, implementing, optimizing, and continuously improving manufacturing processesWhat You'll Be Doing:We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Sr. Process Engineer to assist in development, control, and documentation of food manufacturing process to assure we produce top quality food with consistencyDevelop and optimize production processes in partnership with co-manufacturersIdentify inconsistencies and assist in continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain process documentation and work instructionsTravel to co-manufacturing sites to support trial and first production activitiesSupport onboarding of new co-manufacturers including process transfer and validationCollect, analyze, and interpret production data to drive data-based decisionsWhat You Bring to the Table:Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)Strong problem solving and data analysis skills, outside the box thinkingWillingness and ability to travel (50%)5-7 years experience in process engineering or food manufacturingPersonal Characteristics:An ambitious individual that wants to grow their skillset at one of the premier, growing food companies.Self-Starter that requires minimal oversight with an ability to problem solve, manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Very strong organizational skills and an extremely disciplined approach to database and documentation managementExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasksEffective communication and teamwork skills are critical.Accustomed to changing priorities and a high tempo, dynamic environment.Strong interpersonal skills and a great attitude to support a high growth companyLocation & Pay TransparencyThis position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. Additionally, it will involve 50% travel; predominantly in the U.S. The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000–$130,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
