Kelly Services is seeking Packaging Associates for a manufacturing facility in Kinston, NC.

Shifts available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Hourly Rate: $16.21/hr

Position Summary:
As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for labeling and packing cartons, cups, and lids into cases, ensuring quality standards are met. This role includes inspecting products for defects, maintaining a clean work area, and contributing to overall operational success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pack sleeves of cartons, cups, and lids into cases; may need to bag sleeves or place them in packing trays before casing
• Inspect products for quality defects and notify operator or supervisor if defects are found
• Keep the work area clean
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications:

• Basic ability to add and subtract four-digit numbers
• Basic mechanical knowledge; may need to stop machines, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for instructions and communication regarding quality concerns
• Decision-making based on established guidelines regarding product quality
