TM Receiver Pay Range:$17.15-$18.42hourly Overall Job Summary The Receiver is primarily responsible for inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role executes receiving, inventory adjustment, reconciliation, transfer, buyback/RTV, compliance, and reporting processes while maintaining partnership with the Store Operations Manager. The updated operating model narrows Receiver ownership away from front sidewalk/sidelot presentation and backroom/dock/assembly recovery, which are owned by Operations leadership. _Do you love the life out here and want to share it with others? At Tractor Supply we strive to make the life out here a little bit better each day for both our neighbors and our teams._ Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) It is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements. + Maintain regular and predictable attendance. + Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs. + Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: + Greet the Customer. + Uncover Customeru2019s Needs & Wants. + Recommend Product Solutions. + Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer. + Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution. + Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members, improve selling behaviors, and reinforce consistent operating standards. + Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required. + Pull waiting OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines. + Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and BODFS Reconciliation Report according to company standards. + Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers, including new and open transfers. + Receive and key truck, execute truck unload plan, stage totes for Freight Team Leader, and complete Loader Feedback Survey. + Stock and tag direct vendor freight, front/sidelot DC freight, and leather footwear according to process standards. + Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team as assigned. + Key inventory adjustments and correct or adjust inventory discrepancies according to company process and Store Operations Manager direction. + Review Negative On Hand Report and execute required follow-up. + Review and execute buybacks and RTV processes. + Check ACT for assigned tasks and complete assigned receiving, inventory, and compliance actions. + Key daily defectives, print Summary Report, and submit to the Store Operations Manager. + Complete Fire Extinguisher sign off, Biological Cooler rotation, PER review, Battery Program routines, and hazardous waste disposal program requirements. + Complete monthly food expiration reviews for Feed/Food and Registers. + Check High Dollar List; find and label Rainchecks, BOPIS DC Transfer, and Subscription items. + Process UPS/FedEx shipments, freight claims, used oil recycling, and used tires recycling where applicable. + Complete Layaway Review, Special Order Review, Raincheck Review, INR Review, RGO Review, Open and New Transfers In Review, and Verify Ship to Store Orders. + Partner with the Store Operations Manager on inventory control, compliance, receiving standards, and process follow-up. + Operate forklift, baler, cash register/computer, and other equipment as needed; assist customers with loading purchases. + Complete all documentation associated with the above job duties accurately and timely. + Obtain license or certifications as needed by the business. + May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Experience: Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driveru2019s license. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately. Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities + Basic computer skills/experience. + Basic math skills. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict. Working Conditions + Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise. + Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 10 hours + Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate. + Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. + Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines Physical Requirements + This position is non-sedentary. + It is essential that FAST Team Members have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely. + Team members must have the physical and mental ability to perform all of the following tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation): + Ability to constantly operate a forklift. + Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store (e.g. dolly, handtruck, forklift, baler, computer, cash register) (forklift and baler requirements do not apply if under the age of 18). + Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with the assistance of proper material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jack). + Ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead. + Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout the store. + Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders. + Ability to move throughout the store for an entire shift. + Ability to safely access all areas of the store including selling floor, side lot, stock area, and register area. + Ability to constantly operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, and other store equipment. + Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation. + Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers. + Ability to process information / merchandise through the point-of-sale system. + Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry. + Ability to successfully complete training and certification to dispense propane, and to dispense propane (propane certification and dispensing requirement does not apply if under the age of 18). + Ability to successfully complete all required training. + Ability to travel as required in support of district needs. + Ability to successfully complete all required training and certification.
