Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Manager in the Houston area to lead a growing mechanical service operation across HVAC, sheet metal, chiller, and boiler lines.
Impact
- Grow service revenue through maintenance agreements and new accounts.
- Build a skilled, reliable technician team through coaching and accountability.
- Improve margins through accurate quoting, scheduling, and resource use.
- Keep clients loyal as their primary escalation point.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily service operations: dispatch, scheduling, and customer commitments.
- Develop and close maintenance contracts across HVAC, sheet metal, chiller, and boiler scopes.
- Coach technicians through performance reviews and development plans.
- Work with leadership on budgets, forecasts, and growth targets.
- Review and approve estimates and quotes.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard service technicians.
Must-Haves
- Leadership of a commercial HVAC service department.
- Experience selling and managing maintenance agreements.
- Command of quoting, scheduling, and technician development.
Nice-to-Haves
- Chiller or boiler technical background.
- Experience with field service software.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Onsite in the Houston area.
