About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Financial Advisory Team, with a focus on FIG (Financial Institutions Group). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing a range of advisory engagements, including M&A, valuations, and due diligence, specifically within the wealth advisory space. This role involves serving as the primary client contact, leading transaction teams, and driving business development to position the firm as a strategic advisor. The VP will also be expected to mentor and manage junior team members, contribute to thought leadership, and stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the delivery of high-quality, up-to-date client solutions. Applicants for the Vice President position should hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an advanced degree such as an MBA or JD being a plus. Relevant certifications are preferred, and a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or related financial services is required. The role demands a proven track record in leading deal teams, strong analytical and financial modeling skills, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and the candidate must be willing to obtain the necessary licenses through the firm's affiliated broker-dealer and be open to travel as needed.
