What You’ll Do As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role inassessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams todeliver high-quality respiratory care and support positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include: Performing respiratory assessments, treatments, and diagnosticevaluations Monitoring and managing patients with cardiopulmonary deficienciesand abnormalities Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement patient careplans Providing clinical consultation, education, and technical support tohealthcare staff Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment Responding effectively in urgent and critical care situations Supporting additional departmental and patient care duties as needed What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a motivated professional who is confidentworking independently, communicates effectively, and remains calm underpressure. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare settingpreferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills Emotionally mature with the ability to perform effectively inhigh-stress situations Licensure & Certifications Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License required NBRC Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS and NRP certifications preferred All certifications must remain active throughout employment Why Join Blue Ridge Medical Center?
