Forklift OperatorHire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a busy distribution center in Mesquite, TX!This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for safely moving pallets and materials throughout the facility while supporting daily production and shipping operations.Position DetailsLocation: Mesquite, TXSchedule: Thursday–Sunday, 4:30 PM - 6:00AMPay: $19.50/hourKey Responsibilities:Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets and materials throughout the distribution center.Load and unload customer trailers.Position forks and lifting equipment correctly under, over, or around loaded pallets.Lift, transport, lower, and stack materials in designated areas.Move pallets efficiently to support production and warehouse operations.Assist with hand-sorting pallets when needed.Make safe and efficient decisions regarding the movement and placement of materials.Follow all forklift operating procedures and company safety standards.Meet established productivity and production expectations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Complete required records and follow instructions regarding documentation.Work as part of a team while maintaining accountability for performance and safety.QualificationsPrevious forklift experience preferred.Forklift certification/training is preferred but not required.Basic computer skills.Strong math, reading, and communication skills.Good attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong commitment to workplace safety.Good balance and hand-eye-foot coordination.Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule.Ready to put your forklift skills to work?
