Camp Ice Cool Counselor (Part‑Time, Seasonal) Location: Glenview Community Ice Center, Glenview, IL 60026 Position Type: Seasonal Salary: $16.00 – $16.00 per hour Job Summary The Glenview Community Ice Center is looking for enthusiastic Camp Counselors for this coming season! In this fun and rewarding position, you will get hands‑on experience by: Meeting and greeting parents and campers upon arrivals and departures Engaging in regular communication with parents, campers and other staff Actively participating in daily activities alongside campers Leading and supervising campers to ensure rewarding and safe experience Understanding and following the direction of the Camp Director Ensuring safety for all participants and administering basic first aid as necessary Assisting with set‑up and break‑down of campsite Qualifications Qualified candidates must be at least 16 years of age and should have: Experience working in a summer camp or similar position Knowledge of skating and activities Excellent skills in working with children Ability to effectively communicate with parents, campers and staff Scheduling & Pay This is a part‑time, seasonal position. Required availability Monday through Friday, ranging from 8:15 a.m. – 6:15 p.m., June 8 through August 7. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
