Senior Facilities Manager

Seeking a hands‑on Facilities Manager to lead all maintenance, utilities, and facility operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, plant safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting production goals. The position oversees a team of maintenance and facilities personnel, manages projects, budgets, contractors, and capital improvements, and works closely with plant leadership. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires daily engagement on the production floor and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and driving plant performance. Key Requirements Lead maintenance, utilities, refrigeration, and facility operations while ensuring safety, quality, and production objectives are met. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Manage direct reports, contractors, budgets, capital projects, and regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, USDA, and other applicable standards. Qualifications 5–7+ years of maintenance, facilities, or utilities management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing. Strong project management, contractor management, and troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills. Experience with meat processing, vacuum packaging, high‑pressure boiler operations (NJ Black Seal License preferred or willingness to obtain), and bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable.
