Responsibilities
- Operate complex MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of internal tissues, organs, and bones
- Screen patients for MRI safety and screen for contraindications to contrast agents
- Administer and monitor use of contrast agents per protocol
- Position patients and coils correctly to optimize image quality and patient comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images, adjust protocols, and ensure accuracy of exams
- Perform routine quality control checks and maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification required
- Minimum 2 years MRI technologist experience
- Active ARRT MRI certification; Michigan state licensure to practice (as applicable)
- Ability to work a weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) and participate in a travel assignment
- Knowledge of safety screening, patient care, and contrast administration procedures
