Qualifications Required Candidates must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) or the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS), or have completed an approved surgical residency and be pursuing board certification. Applicants must also be eligible for veterinary licensure in the State of New York.
