Bulgarian-English Translator and Language Editor

Role Overview

Apply Bulgarian language expertise to produce accurate, culturally relevant content and communications for projects that support high quality AI training data, evaluations, and feedback. You will work remotely with an international team, helping ensure Bulgarian-language deliverables are polished, consistent, and aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and proofread Bulgarian-language documents for grammar, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Translate materials between English and Bulgarian while preserving meaning and context.
• Collaborate with international team members to deliver written and verbal content on schedule and to a high standard of Bulgarian proficiency.
• Provide linguistic guidance on local nuances and language best practices.
• Create and maintain glossaries, terminology lists, and style guides for current and future work.
• Participate in virtual meetings and proactively address language-related challenges.
• Ensure communications reflect the required brand voice and messaging standards.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Bulgarian fluency, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
• Comfort using digital collaboration tools and working remotely.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Interest in language, culture, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working with international or cross-cultural teams.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time contract role.

Compensation

• $30 to $70 per hour.
