As part of a dedicated therapy team, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, serving students in a diverse array of schools throughout the district.

What we’re looking for:

• Active Tennessee licensure, or eligibility, as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Enthusiasm for travel between multiple school sites within the district
• A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
• Solid organizational abilities with a knack for supporting individualized therapy plans
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is a plus, but not required
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to adapt to the district’s varying needs

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services under the guidance of a district Physical Therapist
• Assist with implementing student-specific treatment plans to help achieve mobility and educational goals
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress in alignment with district standards
• Foster communication with school staff, special education teams, and other related service providers
• Travel between schools across the district, providing essential support wherever it’s needed most
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary conversations focused on student success
