Social Services Assistant Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in social work, Human Resource Field, or related disciplines like Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitative Counseling, or Psychology; preferred. License/Certification in accordance with state laws and regulations. Social Services Assistant Physical and Communication Requirements: Your role will encompass a variety of physical tasks and communication needs: Interaction with residents and families to maintain dignity, provide counseling, and facilitate emotional support.
