The Organizational Development Specialist partners with leaders across the organization to strengthen employee development, leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and workplace culture. The Organizational Development Specialist designs and leads organizational development initiatives that support organizational change, foster a positive work culture, and enhance employee engagement and performance. This role collaborates with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to assess business needs, develop strategies, and implement initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and support business objectives. The Organizational Development Specialist is also responsible for designing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning and development programs that build employee capability and organizational success. Key Responsibilities Organizational Development Conduct organizational assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement Develop and implement strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and culture Collaborate with HR and business partners to design, implement, and maintain talent and career development programs Conduct job analyses and develop job descriptions that support organizational effectiveness and compliance Ensure alignment between talent management practices and organizational goals and priorities Support organizational change efforts by providing change management expertise, guidance, and tools to leaders and employees Develop communication plans and training programs to facilitate successful organizational change Monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed Foster a positive organizational culture by promoting collaboration, inclusion, and employee engagement Learning & Development Design, develop, implement, and facilitate learning and development programs Facilitate interactive learning activities and discussions to encourage participation and knowledge retention Provide coaching and support to learners to reinforce application of newly acquired skills and knowledge Design, develop, and implement onboarding programs that support successful new hire integration Collaborate cross-functionally to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and business priorities Serve as a trusted resource for leaders and employees seeking learning and development support Leadership Development Design and facilitate leadership development programs for current and emerging leaders Identify leadership competencies aligned with organizational goals and values Provide coaching and developmental feedback to leaders to support growth and effectiveness Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and employees to understand business needs and priorities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align organizational development initiatives with business objectives Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational development and learning initiatives Project & Program Management Manage projects from initiation through implementation while meeting timelines, budgets, and objectives Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project milestones and deliverables Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of organizational development initiatives Manage ongoing talent programs to ensure they remain current and effective Evaluation & Measurement Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of learning and organizational development programs Analyze data and participant feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities Utilize evaluation results to continuously improve learning strategies and program outcomes Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of organizational behavior principles and practices Knowledge of organizational change management models and methodologies Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with leaders, stakeholders, and employees at all levels of the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Skill in job analysis, organizational design, and job description development Education Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field required Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred Licenses & Certifications Professional certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Change Management (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, Prosci) preferred Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience designing and implementing learning and organizational development initiatives required Manufacturing experience preferred Chattanooga - 316 Corporate, 316 Corporate Place, Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States of America #J-18808-Ljbffr
