Postdoctoral Scholar: Hippo Signaling Pathway - Wang Lab

Position Overview Position: Postdoctoral Scholar in the Wang lab, Department of Developmental and Cell Biology, University of California, Irvine. Scope: Study Hippo signaling pathway in organ size control and cancer development using integrated proteomics/bioinformatics analyses, in‑depth biochemical studies, and sophisticated genetic mouse models to dissect regulation and function of the Hippo pathway in normal physiology and cancer. The goal is to develop therapeutic approaches that target the Hippo pathway. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $69,073 – $82,836 (UC Postdoctoral Scholar Scale). Off‑scale salaries may be offered to remain competitive. Benefits follow NIH standard. Location Irvine, CA. Responsibilities Conduct proteomics and bioinformatics analyses related to Hippo signaling. Perform biochemical studies of pathway components. Utilize genetic mouse models to investigate pathway function. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within and outside the lab. Publish and present research findings at conferences. Qualifications Ph.D. (or MD/Ph.D.) in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, cancer biology, or a related field completed within the last 12 months. Highly motivated, independent, and career‑oriented candidate. Track record of excellent first‑author publications. Experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques and data analysis.
