Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and dedicated RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a temporary travel assignment in Thousand Oaks, CA. This role is critical for providing high-quality care in both vaginal exams and circulating C-Sections within a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Performing and assessing vaginal exams
• Circulating during C-Sections and managing post-C-Section recovery
• Providing care to laboring patients, including vaginal and C-Section deliveries
• Caring for high-risk antepartum patients, such as those with gestational hypertension and diabetes
• Handling obstetrical emergencies, including obstetric hemorrhage
• Providing initial newborn care, including breastfeeding support within the first hour of life
• Delivering excellent customer service and patient communication

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Current CA RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of two years of experience in fetal monitoring
• Proficiency in C-Section circulating and post-C-section recovery
• Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to quality care
