Job Description
Title: Registered Echo Technologist

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Vascular/Echocardiography from an accredited institution for cardiac ultrasound or on-the-job training with an associate's degree in Allied Health.
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer or registry eligible.
- CPR certification required.
- One to two years of experience as an echocardiography technician preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to evaluate and record pertinent anatomical and functional data for diagnosis.
- Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic tests as appropriate, including EKGs, Event Monitor applications, and Stress Testing.
- Document procedure data accurately in patient charts and notify physicians of critical test results.
- Maintain and sanitize echocardiography equipment.
- Assist with clerical duties and patient transport as needed.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
