Director of Product Marketing

Experienced leaders will find a full-time salaried opportunity as the Director of Product Marketing, responsible for architecting market strategies for AI solutions, leading a high-performing team, and translating complex technical architectures into compelling market narratives in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Own the development and global adoption of DigitalOcean's market narrative, transforming complex product capabilities into a clear market point of view Hire, coach, and scale a world-class Product Marketing team while ensuring technical accuracy and empowering team members to become elite storytellers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive narrative-led go-to-market strategies, defining objectives and success metrics for product launches Required qualifications Proven track record in hiring and leading high-performing product marketing teams, particularly in developer platforms or infrastructure Hands-on experience with technical products, including familiarity with terminal and IDE environments Daily use of AI tools to enhance workflows and a strong understanding of the AI landscape Ability to transform complex product capabilities into clear market narratives Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to ambiguity and problem-solving
