SUMMIT Appliance ( a Division of Felix Storch, Inc. is a 57-year-old private business, located in the Bronx, NY, Edison, NJ and Freehold, NJ. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. For a more complete company history candidates are encouraged to visit our website, We seek a box truck driver to make local and regional deliveries out of our Edison, NJ facility. This position is a Monday thorugh Friday with no weekends and no overnights.Some paid overtime may be required. You will be driving a 24 foot straight truck with a liftgate .

Truck Driver Responsibilities :
? Drivers are responsible for loading, unloading and delivering major household appliances (Appliances include, but not limited to, refrigerators, ranges, chest freezers and more)
? Pick up transfer merchandise at NY warehouse and other locations.
? Assist the warehouse team with the loading trucks for same day.
? Collect COD's as directed.
? Check merchandise against bills of lading for accuracy.
? Fill out log books and comply with DOT regulations at all times.
? Daily inspection of vehicle for safety.
? Attend driver training classes as offered by the company.
? Stay current on motor vehicle rules and regulations.
? Keep vehicle clean and well maintained.
? Report any safety or vehicle deficiencies to management.
? Other relater duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
? High school graduate
? CDL Class A or B required with current medical card
? 3 years driving Class A or B vehicles

Rate of pay : $21.00-$23.00 / hour based on experience
