Senior Specialist, Employee Communications

Job Summary Delivers timely, relevant, and actionable communications that equip frontline technical teams with the information they need to service the network and support our customers. Supports operationalizing new network and consumer technologies by translating business priorities into clear, field‑ready guidance that enables consistent execution and a high‑quality customer experience. Responsibilities Execute communication strategies that deliver clear, timely, and actionable information to frontline technical teams. Translate business priorities, operational updates, and network initiatives into field‑ready communications for technicians and supervisors. Partner with leaders and stakeholders to develop and refine communication approaches that drive understanding and adoption. Develop and deliver structured communication tools (e.g., huddles, recurring updates) focusing on what matters most to frontline teams. Support the management of integrated communication plans and editorial calendars to coordinate messaging and reinforce key priorities. Write, edit, and prepare communications for distribution, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and ease of use in the field. Own and maintain knowledge articles in online repositories to reflect current processes, tools, and technologies, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and easy to use. Monitor feedback and performance metrics to assess how communications are received and understood by frontline teams. Use data and field feedback to suggest improvements to communication content and delivery. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging that impacts frontline operations. Exercise independent judgment in managing priorities and delivering accurate, relevant communication content through data and field feedback. Perform regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends and variable schedules as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or related field (preferred). Equivalent combination of coursework and experience may be considered. 5–7 years of relevant experience in employee communications, strategic communication planning, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing field‑ready communications and structured communication tools. Proficiency in using data and field feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness. Ability to work independently and make judgment in managing priorities. Availability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed. Compensation Competitive base pay range: $78,928.01 – $118,392.01, with additional benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and other perks.
