Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call shifts on weekends and during the week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a cardiac unit to join our team. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and manage cardiac care interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and assist in minor surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and maintenance.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a cardiac or critical care setting.
• Current RN license in hand (Compact license accepted).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
