Job Title: Travel RN - NICU

Location: Marysville, California

Department/Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Salary Range: $40 to $55 per hour

Shift: Night Shift (36-48 hours per week)

Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Marysville, California. This role is vital for delivering high-quality care to critically ill or premature newborns.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Assess and evaluate newborns’ health status, documenting any changes and responding appropriately.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate families about their newborn's condition, treatment options, and care after discharge.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols in the NICU.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
