Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Dietary Aide Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hollywood, Florida. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care and service to our residents by assisting in food service functions and maintaining a clean and safe environment. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and have a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established facility policies and procedures Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc. Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc., and take to dishwashing area Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas Serve food in dining room as instructed Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis Distribute and collect menus as necessary Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed Return clean utensils to proper storage areas Assist in checking diet trays before distribution About the Role As a Dietary Aide at Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food service and cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to our residents.
