Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Endoscopy position requiring 1 year of endoscopy experience and a VA or compact RN license

Details

• Hospital-based Endoscopy department with 5 pre-op beds, 5 post-op beds, and 2 procedural rooms
• All-RN staffing model with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Performs colonoscopies, endoscopies, and ERCPs
• Uses bedside monitors, EKG machines, and endoscopic procedural equipment
• Charts in the Expanse documentation system
• Scheduled shifts are 4x10-hour days
• On-call responsibilities required for weekends and after hours
• May float to local HCA endoscopy facilities or to pre-op/PACU units

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy procedural experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and ERCPs
• Join a small, family-oriented department known for strong team dedication
• Required to wear light blue scrubs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
