Social Worker - Medical Social Worker

Intake Therapist – Behavioral Health

Unit/Department: Behavioral Health / Psychiatric

Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Monday through Thursday; 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM Friday; some Saturday hours

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
• Full State of Michigan licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year post-Master's experience providing mental health treatment services to adults and children with severe mental illness
• At least 1 year of experience treating or working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and Children's Mental Health Professional (CMHP) credentials required within 120 days of hire
• CAADC credential or being on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire
• Experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families
