There are very robust continuing education options and opportunities for skills diversification and career advancement with UHS.Essential Job DutiesComplete comprehensive Nursing Assessments and assist in creating goals, objectives, and interventions for the treatment planWork as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that quality services are provided to patients in the Partial and Intensive Outpatient ProgramsWork closely with the Provider to submit medication requests or changes in medication and ensure that medication reconciliation forms are up to date with the most recent changes.Develop a therapeutic relationship with patients using strong communication skillsComplete all documentation timely, accurately and in accordance to nursing standards/facility policies and proceduresParticipate in hospital emergency codes necessary to the unit's and the hospital's safe operationComply with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding incidents and injuries. Documents and reports incidents and injuries appropriatelyAssist patients in self-administering of medications as prescribed by physician in a safe, accurate and timely manner utilizing the "Five Rights" of medication administrationQualificationsCurrent license to practice nursing in the State of Delaware (or eligible to receive or renew).
